Indications:
It can be used to treat patients with chloroquine-sensitive falciparum malaria and vivax malaria, malariae malariae and malaria ovalis that cannot be taken orally. It can also be used to treat patients with parenteral amoebiasis such as amoebic liver abscess, and switch to oral medication after improvement.

Contraindications:
Chloroquine injection should not be used as intramuscular injection, especially in children, it is easy to cause myocardial inhibition. Intravenous infusion is prohibited.

Chloroquine can cause fetal hydrocephalus, limb deformity and deafness, so pregnant women should not use it.

Dosage:
IV is for intravenous injection only, each infusion time is more than 1 hour. Patients with cerebral malaria were given 18-24 mg/kg intravenously on day 1 (60kg for those weighing more than 60kg), 12mg/kg on day 2, and 10mg/kg on day 3. The concentration of chloroquine phosphate was added to 10% glucose solution or 5% glucose sodium chloride injection 500ml every 0.5g, and the intravenous infusion rate was 12 to 20 drops per minute.
