Characteristics: This product is sugar coated or film coated, white after removing the coating. Indications: For type II diabetes patients with unsatisfactory diet control, especially those with obesity, this drug can not only reduce blood glucose, but also possibly reduce body weight. Sulfonylureas may be effective in patients with poor efficacy, such as in combination with sulfonylureas, small intestinal glycosidase inhibitors, or thiazolidinedione hypoglycemic agents, rather than alone. Can also be used for treatment of patients, to reduce the amount of blood sugar.
Usage and Dosage: Oral administration for adults starts at 0.25g once, 2-3 times a day, and gradually increases according to the curative effect. Generally, the daily dose of 1-1.5g is not more than 2g a day. Taken during or immediately after meals, it can relieve gastrointestinal reactions. Interactions: 1. The hypoglycemic effect is enhanced, so the dose should be adjusted. 2. This product can strengthen the anticoagulation effect of anticoagulants (such as warfarin, etc.), which can cause bleeding tendency. 3. Cimetidine can increase the bioavailability of the product and reduce the kidney clearance rate, so the dose of cimetidine should be reduced.
