Indications:
For inducing labor, oxytocin, postpartum and post-abortion uterine bleeding caused by weak or poor contraction; Understanding placental reserve function (oxytocin irritation test).

Contra-indications:
Narrow pelvis, obstructed birth canal, apparent head basin misalignment and transverse delivery are contraindicated, cesarean section history, myomectomy history and brachial delivery are contraindicated.

Usage & Dosage:
(1) Labor induction or intravenous infusion of oxytocin, 2.5 ~ 5 units at a time, diluted with sodium chloride injection to contain 0.01 units per 1ml. The beginning of the drip should not exceed 0.001 ~ 0.002 units per minute, and the increase should be 0.001 ~ 0.002 units every 15 ~ 30 minutes, until the contraction is similar to the normal delivery period, and the fastest should not exceed 0.02 units per minute, usually 0.002 ~ 0.005 units per minute.
(2) Control postpartum hemorrhage by dropping 0.02 ~ 0.04 units per minute, and intramuscular injection of 5 ~ 10 units can be performed after placenta discharge.
