Composition:
-Secnidazole:500mg

Antiparasitologic
It is indicated for the treatment of the following infections canused by anaerobic organisms and ectosarc such as all kinds of amebiasis, giardiasis, trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginitis.
1.Urethritis and vaginitis caused by trichomonas vaginalis;
2.Intestinal amebiasis, hepatic amebiasis;
3.Giardiasis
4.Therapy and precaution of anaerobIc infection, treatment of oral cavity, lung and gynecological infections: The prevention of anaerobic infections after operations on abdominal regions including colon, gastrointestinal tract, women genitourinary system.
Dosage and administration:
Adult: Uretritis and vaginitis caused by trichomonas vaginalis: 2g in single dose.
-Intestinal Amebiasis Adult: 2g in single dose in acute amebiasis. Children: 30mg/kg/day one single dose. In kystic and minuta forms, dosage is same and reatment duration is 3 days.
-Hepatic Amebiasis: Adult: 1.5g per day during 5 days. Children: 30 mg/kg/day uring 5 days.
-Giardiasis: Children: 30 mg/kg in single dose.
Contra-indications:
-Hypersensibility to imidazoles.
-Pregnant and breast feeding..
Precautions:
Avoid consumption of alcohol during treatment.
Interactions
-Disulfirame, oral anticoagulants, alcohol eand medicines containing alcohol .
Side effects:
Gastro-intestinal tract symptoms are the commonest.
Storage:
Store below 30ºC on a dry and dark place. Do not use after expiry date.
Keep out of the reach of children.
