Indications:
It is used for Rickettsial disease, mycoplasma infection, Chlamydia infection, relapsing fever, truomycosis, cholera, tularemia, plague, and malnutrition. It can also be used for patients allergic to penicillin, tetanus, gas gangrene, yaws, syphilis, gonorrhea and so on.
Contra-indications:
(1) Digestive system: Oral administration of this product can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal reactions. Esophagitis and esophageal ulcers have occasionally been reported, mostly in patients who became bedridden immediately after taking medication.
(2) hepatotoxicity: patients with fatty liver degeneration and pregnant women are prone to occur, and can also occur in patients without the above conditions. Pancreatitis may occasionally occur, and pancreatitis caused by this product may also occur simultaneously with hepatotoxicity, and the patient does not have primary liver disease.
(3) Allergic reaction: mostly maculopapules and erythema, a few patients can have urticaria, angioneuroedema, anaphylactoid purpura, pericarditis and systemic lupus erythematosus skin lesions aggravated, exfoliative dermatitis is not common. Occasionally, anaphylactic shock and asthma occur. Some patients using this product may have photosensitivity to the sun, so it is recommended that patients do not directly exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet rays during the use of this product, once the skin erythema should immediately stop the drug.
(4) Blood system: occasionally can cause hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia and eosinophil penia.
(5) Central nervous system: occasionally can cause benign intracranial pressure increase, can be manifested as headache, vomiting, optic nerve papilledema, etc., can be relieved after withdrawal.
(6) Double infection: Long-term use of this product can occur resistant staphylococcus aureus, gram-negative bacteria and fungi caused by digestive tract, respiratory tract and urinary tract infections, severe cases can cause sepsis.
(7) The application of tetracycline can reduce the normal flora in the human body, and cause vitamin deficiency, fungal reproduction, dry mouth, pharyngitis, keratitis and glossum.
Precautions & Warning:
(1) Overpropagation of drug-resistant bacteria may occur when using this product. In case of double infection, discontinue the product and treat accordingly.
(2) In the treatment of venereal diseases, if suspected of concurrent infection with treponema pallidum, dark field microscopy and serological examination must be performed before medication, the latter once a month, at least 4 times.
(3) Long-term medication should be followed up regularly to check blood routine and liver function.
