Dosage 
Cerebral malaria patients received an intravenous infusion of 18-24 mg/kg on the first day (calculated as 60 kg for those weighing more than 60 kg), 12 mg/kg on the second day, and 10 mg/kg on the third day. Adverse reactions

Precautions 
1. Use with caution in patients with severe erythema multiforme, porphyria, psoriasis and mental illness.
2. Chloroquine injection is not suitable for intramuscular injection, especially in children, it is easy to cause myocardial depression. Prohibited for intravenous injection.
3. Chloroquine can cause fetal hydrocephalus, limb deformities and deafness, so pregnant women are contraindicated.

1. This product is used together with phenylbutazone, which can easily cause allergic dermatitis.
2. Combined with chlorpromazine, it is easy to aggravate liver damage.
3. This product has a direct inhibitory effect on the neuromuscular junction, and streptomycin can aggravate this side effect.
4. After the application of this product in patients with digitalis, it is easy to cause heart block.
5. Combining this product with heparin or penicillamine can increase the chance of bleeding;

8. Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors may increase toxicity.
9. Combination with fluroxyprednisolone can easily cause exfoliative erythroderma.
10. When used together with chloroquine congeners (aminophenoquine, hydroxychloroquine, etc.), it can increase the blood concentration of chloroquine.
drug overdose
Acute chloroquine poisoning is often fatal, and its lethal dose can be as low as 50 mg (substrate)/kg. Nausea, vomiting, and drowsiness appear rapidly, followed by slurred speech, agitation, visual impairment, dyspnea due to pulmonary edema, and even stop. , Arrhythmia, convulsions and coma.
