CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Allergy to pemcilms or any of the cephalosponns
Patents with infecticus mcnonucleosis since they are especially susceptible to amoxyclin induced skin rashes, patients with lymphatic
leukaemia and patients with hyperuricemia being treated with allopurind may also be at increased nsk of developing skn rashes
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
The average adult dose for amoxycllm is 750mg-1 5g per day
Adults  5ml of 250mg/5ml suspension three times a day
Children  5ml of 125mg/5ml suspension three times a day
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Gastrointestinal disturbances, including darrhoea, nausea and vomiting occur frequently Allergc reactions may occur, presenting as a purtc
skin rash, an erythematous skin reactions or urticaria  In this event withdrawal of amoxyclin is necessary

Treatment with amoxycllin may give nse to a maculopapular rssh during therapy or within a few cteys after corrplion thereof The incidence of

Pseudomembranous colitis has been reported Super-infections with non-susceptible crganisms may cccur Caution must be exercised in
treating patients with dehydration or oliguria because of the possibility of crystalluria
The use of this antibiotic may lead to the appearaice of resistant strains of ornisms and sensitivity testing should, therd'ore, be carried out
whenever possible, to ensure the appropriateness of the therapy
